We offer a number of Proven Training Programme's for your
estimators. 'ATA Vehicle Damage Assessor' accreditation is
the only standard
for estimators. It measures critical competencies which an
individual needs to achieve, to be accredited. The failure rate is
considerably high. Listed below are just some of the reasons for
failure first time round:
-
The
majority of estimators have a very limited understanding of the ABI
Code of Practice when it comes to Salvage Categorisation and how to
apply that four step process to ensure that the integrity of that
code remains intact.
-
The
majority of estimators rely on ball park figures for assessing the
value of vehicles instead of using Industry Standard software to
accurately assess the pre accident value (PAV) of a vehicle.
This can make the difference between loosing the job to a salvage
agent or invoicing your work provider for its repair.
-
Failure
to identify safety related tasks or components, and include them in
their hand written assessment, due to a poor forensic approach in
assessing the damage.
-
Failure
to have a repeatable process in assessing the accident damaged
vehicle. This 'Repeatable' approach ensures you rarely miss tasks or
components from your repair specifications and then have to submit
supplementary estimates to cover your failures.
