What will you do to Challenge 2012

The challenge of 2012 is fast approaching, and with the changing landscape of the repair industry accelerating, those challenges 2012 look to be far reaching.  Changes to the ATA accreditation in reducing from five years to a three year validity period indicate that as a Professional Repairer, your approach to managing the evidence of competency for your staff will have to change to.

PAS 125:2011 is now the standard that ALL Bodyshops are being measured against, denoting that those shop’s with a repair process that conforms to the original 2007 version have only six months left in which to realign their repair processes to the current standard (2011).  In many instances that six month period will be less as BSI make their second on-going inspection to those premises, by which time it could be too late, and effectively those shops may need to dig deep into their pockets to ensure the continuity of their license.
